Comments:	This guy just can\'t shut up! He talks on and on in circles! My hole class was feed up with him by the end. He\'s a good teacher sometimes, but since he takes forever explaining things that make it all the more confusing, it leaves little class time to work.

Comments:	I gave Rich a rating of "1" because I felt sorry for him. He's a nice guy and he TRIES to make his class interesting but he does talk on and on and on until you fall off your chair from boredom. If you ask a simple question like "What is the name of this typeface?" instead of just giving the name he'll go on and on about the history of the typeface, who created it, how it became digitized, etc. So, what should've been a simple 1 second answer turns into a 30 minute speech. But, like I said, Rich IS nice and he's the most compassionate of all the design profs. The one thing he IS strict about is attendance. I think it was you have 3 unexcused absences, and after that your grade goes down 1 grade. If you come late to class 3 times it counts as 1 unexcused absence. If you come to class but leave early (even 1 minute early), that'll be an unexcused absence too. Also if you need help, he WILL help you as much as he can, but expect a LONG ass explanation. That's why it's hard to rate him, because he's a nice person, a fairly easy prof, his classes are easy but he is boring.

Comments:	Aside from having the reputation as a pervert, Bigus is also very biased (favors the pretty girls), extremely susceptible to ass kissing, and is incredibly fond of the sound of his own voice. He rambles endlessly and goes off on tangents throughout the whole class period, as if he's determined to prove how knowledgeable he really is. He seems intelligent, but is thoroughly unable to impart his knowledge to others. By the end of the semester the whole class was both annoyed and frustrated with him, as he was constantly late to class and taught us very little.

Comments:	the subject is interesting but he spends too much time on the history of typography and he just yaks on and on. the other reviewer who said he is susceptible to ass-kissing is SO right! if you're a pretty, YOUNG female student, you'll have no problems in his class--just act interested and you'll have an easy time. he's prejudiced against the older students--regardless of their sex. if you're in your late twenties and older (30s, 40s) he doesn't take you seriously like you had nothing better to do with your time so you decided to go back to school, or you have no life or something. he used to ask this one older student in another class stuff like why was she back in school at her age (she was in her 30s), was she just taking classes because she was bored at home, etc. she was actually going back for her degree in art but he didn't need to humiliate her in front of the rest of the class. his projects are boring too. he gets so hyped about his projects like we're all going to just love doing them but they're dull and uninteresting like he is. if you're a foreign student or someone from the mainland or outer islands, and you decide to start cutting class or don't do the project, you can always tell him you weren't coming to class and doing your work because you had to fly home for a family emergency. you'd be surprised at how many foreign students told him that BS when they didn't come to class for a couple of weeks or didn't do their work. he would always buy it and give them extra time or if it's the end of the semester he'd give them an Incomplete and have them turn in their work the following semester.

Comments:	worst design professor I've ever taken. Constantly off topic and has no real focus for the class. Immature most of the time especially when dealing with other students outside of design program. Shouldn't be in a facilitating position and probably not working with other people. Should have a desk job in the back of some office. Yale obviously did as much for him as it did for our president and that doesn’t say much. the man should not be teaching. I can guarantee the only thing you'll learn from this class is whom you don't want to work with in the future.
